Outfit | Edge to Edge

And here I go again! I have an outfit for you guys! I really do hope that I inspire you with my outfits, and don't forget to experiment yourself. Because that is what I do, no more, no less. And as time passes by, you'll eventually create your own style, just like I did.

Back to the point. I haven't wear this outfit ever before, but it's already one of my favorite outfits. A couple days ago I went shopping in the shop center in my city and these items are some of the things I bought.

The color combination of my scarf with the t-shirt I wear and the color combination of my black jeans and the t-shirt are really lovely. I also love how the vest makes it all look more soft.

T-shirt: H&M

Vest: Primark

Singlet: H&M

Jeans: Primark

Scarf: Turkey

The fact that the vest is long and deliciously loose makes me love this outfit more. It's not really thick so it's perfect if it's a little cold outside but not that cold to wear a jacket or coat. And the t-shirt is extremely thin. So it's perfect to wear it in this outfit, because you wear a vest over it, and a singlet underneath it. It basically functions as a an extra thing to add to the outfit, to make it nicer. So it's not really necessary. You can leave it behind. And if you do, you will create a more professional outfit.

And the vest has pockets! That's a really important thing to notice, especially if you're like me: I always hold my phone in my hands. So I need something to put my phone, safely and near by, if my hands are about to get a little busy with something. Pockets in a vest are perfect for this.

One drawback of the t-shirt, unfortunately, is that is has horizontal lines on it. And those make you look more... well, I think you know what I mean.

And this is the hijab style I choose for this outfit. I don't really have a reason for this choice. It was more like: ''I give the impression of 'it's cold', so why don't I finish this impression with a hijab style that completes this?' With this hijab style, it's like, I'am already wearing a hijab, and over that I wear something like a hood or a hat. And I kinda liked how it turned out.

I  hope I inspired you, beautiful elves!

Outfit | Beige and green? Yes, beige and green!

You've all been waiting quite a time for this outfit, so here it is! This is actually a really simple outfit. A basis, long t-shirt, a beige vest with detailed texture at the pockets, and a green pashmina scrarf - I also wear a panther-printed jeans.

It's a really simple outfit, for everyday use possible. I love the vest. not only because the color is so soft, but because of the beautiful detailed texture it has - the pockets are done so creatively! It's really lovely. I also love it that the pockets - or the part that had the beautiful detailed pattern - is quite sheer or transparent, as you can see on the picture above.

You can see on this picture that the vest has a low-high cut, which gives it a playful touch. I choose to combine the vest with a green scarf because it's a rare combination of colors, I thought, but it's not ugly... So I decided tot experiment a little with these colors to see what the outcome was. And tadaaaa..! I really love this. I think it looks gorgeous, and I felt kinda beautiful and unique in these colors (Am I being weird now?).

Let me know what you guys think of this outfit and the look of my hijab. and if you want me to do a tutorial about how I wear my hijab in this outfit, just let me know in the comments down below!

Old fashion? Oh no, darling... Show me some creativity

Those were the exact words of my mama when I said that this old yellow boy is so Old Fashioned and that I didn't see myself ever walk in it.
Wasn't I the person who hated yellow? Positive. But I'm creative and I lóve to try things out. A couple months ago, my mama tide her old stuff up. And ofcourse I was asked to help her with that. To my surprise I found a lot of stuff that she definitely should not throw away. Like this Hip Yellow Jacket. My mama was a true fashion addict. Just like me, but a little more I guess.

To be honest... I didn't really rocked this jacket at first sight. I kept staring at it, put it away, staring, put it away, staring, put it away... And still staring while it was lying somewhere with the old stuff that would be thrown away. But finally, my mom couldn't stand it anymore. 'You keep looking at it! Whether you take it, or you leave it. Make a choise.'

That was when when I decided to take it. I wasn't really sure if I would ever wear it, but I was more afraid of the fact that I might regret it later, if I did leave it.

And, yeah... well, I hanged it in my wardrobe, and it hanged there for like five months. It wasn't until a week ago - when I actually didn't had anything to wear (you know about this ''girly trait'', right?) - that I decided to wear it. At that moment I had to turn on my creativity and combine this old fashioned jacket with something that would give it a more modern look.
So here is what I eventually did.

You can see how casual this outfit is. And I think that this old fashioned jacket can only be worn in a casual way, if you want to combine it with nowadays fashion.
Notice that the hijab I'am wearing completes this casual look. The texture and the color of the hijab give the outfit a playful and creative look. So do the funny zippers on the jacket.

Hmm... after all, I might like this jacket. I think I am going to wear this old fashioned boy more than I thought I would.
